Each knife is fit for either the field or display case. Every blade from conception to finish is the product of a single mind attached to the gifted hands of R. Carpenter.
Every blade that R. Carpenter builds is a product of the stock removal technique. Beautifully finished handles using an array of material from the Grand and Ancient, to the Modern Composites. Some of the different ivory handle offerings are graced with Ray’s unique style of Scrimshaw etching.
Each blade is signed for authenticity and then entered into the makers registry of finished
works.
Every knife is made with the expectation that it will be handed down from father to son for many generations to come.
